Wellness Wednesday + Community Events 12/13/2017

This week for Wellness Wednesday –> 365 Days

Recently Jon Acuff wrote an excellent book called, Finish – Give Yourself the Gift of Done, that we highly recommend. In the book, Acuff discusses how and why people do not reach their goals. We’d like to recommend this book to you and offer you something great.

Some resources say that 80% of New Years Resolutions fail by February. To make sure you experience success, experts (including us at COOR Wellness) will recommend setting small specific goals before large, hard to reach goals. Early, easy wins are important in building confidence.

That is why we believe we have a nutrition program that will change the way people look at nutrition. In fact, the program is doing just that. Maybe not enough locally, but in other areas, other nutrition coaches are seeing substantial changes in their clients.

Soon you’ll hear of a ton of people doing 21, 14, or 30-day challenges. That’s great. But how many people stick with that lifestyle after the challenge?

The program we offer is a 365-day commitment that maximizes small changes, one at a time versus expecting people to alter all their ingrained habits overnight WHILE maintaining their happiness.

In fact, Coach Diana has reached a HUGE milestone on this.

Diana’s HUGE Milestone

Coach Diana started the same program she offers at the end of January, 2017. She started the program eating healthy (she’s the healthiest eater at COOR Wellness by far). Her goal was to participate in the program she offers, so she knows what it’s like to be a client. She wasn’t looking to lose weight. BUT she’s down a lot of weight. Last time she reported, she’s down to around 135 lbs. She started at 153. That’s a 12% drop in weight.

She is now weighing less than when she became pregnant with her children over 30 years ago. Isn’t that great?
